The community support police officer for Halliwell will be holding drop in sessions if you wish to discuss anything with him.  He will be here at the surgery on Thursday 18 August 2022, Thursday 15 September 2022, Thursday 13 October 2022 & Thursday 10 November 2022 - all session are between 10am-12noon. 

Andrea, our Social Prescriber Link Worker will also be holding drop in sessions on the same day at the same time if you need support with Mental Health, wellbeing, access to nature, budgeting, support as a carer, social isolation, housing, volunteering or employment, please come and speak to Andrea.

Pride in Practice tick PRIDE IN PRACTICE 

In March/April 2017, the practice were trained by representatives from the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) Foundation and an assessment was also carried out.  As a result of this, the practice is delighted to announce that we have been awarded with a silver award for PRIDE IN PRACTICE.

Pride in Practice is a quality assurance support service that strengthens and develops your relationship with your lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) patients within your local community.Endorsed by The Royal College of GP’s, Pride in Practice is a support package that enables practices to effectively and confidently meet the needs of LGBT patients.  

The Pride in Practice award demonstrates the practice’s commitment and dedication to ensuring a fully inclusive patient-centred service.
